Dakota Alert and MURS Alert Driveway Alarms

If you have been looking around for a driveway alarm online I am sure you have come across the Dakota Alert 3000 driveway alarms and the MURS Alert Driveway Alarm and Intercom Systems.

Both of these systems are made by the same manufacturer and have been on the market for some time now. The Dakota Alert 3000 units have a wireless range of 600' while the MURS Alert alarm units have wireless ranges of up to 4 miles!

You will notice that the driveway sensors for each of these driveway alarm brands look almost identical. That is because the sensor parts are identical, the only real difference is the wireless transmitting technology the different driveway sensors use.

The other big difference is the receiver units. Dakota Alert has a stationary and a portable receiving unit. MURS Alert also has a stationary and portable receiving unit but they can be used a 4-mile long range intercom system! Combine these "transceivers" with the MURS Alert driveway and entry sensors and you have the perfect driveway alarm for large properties, ranches etc.
